On March 11, the delegation from the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania visited the Samara region, during which Simon Marko Mumvi, Ambassador of the Republic of Tanzania to the Russian Federation, visited Samara State University of Economics and held a meeting with the Rector of the University Svetlana Igorevna Ashmarina.

At the meeting the prospects of cooperation between the university and the Republic of Tanzania in the sphere of science and education were discussed.

Simon Marko Mumvi thanked the rector for the invitation and underlined that the delegation was honored to be present at SSEU. "I would also like once again to take this opportunity to thank our colleagues from Russia for organizing the event, which I hope will be the starting point for our cooperation in the field of education between our countries. We hope and believe that the SSEU will provide quality education for our students. I would also like to sincerely congratulate you on the fact that Samara State University of Economics is one of the best universities in Russia with economic focus," - said Ambassador of Tanzania Simon Marco Mumwi during the meeting.

After the meeting with the Rector, the delegation went on a tour around the University and the University Museum, and then the Ambassador of Tanzania was invited to the opening of the Festival - "Student Spring 2020".
