Samara State University of Economics was included in the university ranking in developing countries of Europe and Central Asia by the British analytical agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), which is the most popular in the world source of universities’ data.

Today SSEU is the leading specialized university of the Volga region, one of the best educational institutions in Russia and a leader in many ratings.

One of them is the regional QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia University Rankings, published on December 16, 2020 by the scientific center QS Quacquarelli Symonds. Samara State University of Economics was ranked 301-350 among the top 400 universities in developing Europe and Central Asia.

QS evaluated the institutions on 10 criteria: academic reputation, reputation among employers, the ratio of teachers and students, number of publications per teacher and staff member, number of citations per publication, the share of foreign faculty and staff, the share of foreign students, the share of teachers and staff with a degree, the depth of international research collaborations, web impact / data in online environment.

A total of 121 Russian universities are represented in the rating, including 18 supporting universities.

This rating reflects the effective work of the university staff in the field of scientific and educational activities, international cooperation, as well as demonstrates a high level of reputation of the university among employers.
