Naila Tagirova, the director of SSUE Institute of Theoretical Economics and International Relations, Anna Zotova, the Head of Department on International Cooperation of the University and Dmitry Abramov, the Head of the World Economy Department participated in a meeting with representatives of the Government of the Samara region and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the region with the delegation of Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in the Russian Federation.

The establishment of business contacts between the Samara region and Indonesia was the main subject of the meeting. The representatives of the SSUE took the initiative to attract Indonesian students for studying under the SSUE educational programs and offered a number of projects to Farid Amir, the trade embassy secretary of the Republic of Indonesia. The Indonesian side was particularly interested in summer schools, training courses of Russian and possibility of the exchange education.
