International relations at Samara State University of Economics are developing successfully and rapidly and The International Centre has been largely responsible for this. The program of international cooperation is implemented in accordance with the main aspects of the Bologna Process and therefore we have the following strategic goals: – introduction of overseas scientific schools which will bring scientific and methodical experience, – promoting student and lecturer mobility according to the Bologna Process and creation of the European Higher Education Area, – expansion of partner relations with foreign companies in traditional and non-traditional directions, – participation in programs for international funding, – creation of international scientific and research groups and consortiums to carry out joint research in the sphere of basic and applied problems, – carrying out active PR-policy on different levels in the sphere of international activity, promotion of the university achievements, opportunities in the sphere of educating foreign students and carring out joint scientific and research activities. SSEU successfully collaborates with foreign higher education institutions and cultural and public organizations such as The University of Central Lancashire (UK), Justus Liebig University, Giessen (Germany), Hamburg University (Germany), Goethe Institute, Dusseldorf (Germany), The American Centre, Samara, The British Council, Samara, the 'INTERAIR' company, Moscow, DAAD, Moscow and others. The university has many years experience in inviting foreign lecturers (from USA, Germany, France) for pedagogical activity on a contractual basis and running international scientific and methodical seminars for lecturers and post-gradute students. The Centre also takes an active part in organizing international scientific and practical conferences. The International Centre of SSEU implements numerous projects and its motto is "World without limits“. Due to globalisation and the Bologna Process it is finding new opportunities for international cooperation and integration into the World Higher Education Area.
